Are You Telling America?

If you follow me and support what I stand for, I want to know where you are from. More importantly, I want to know what you are telling your neighbors.

Are you sharing the good news that America has something new, someone willing to serve the people instead of serving his own agenda?

Are you telling people that I do not come to this campaign with failing businesses, a trail of former wives, political debts, or obligations to Washington insiders?

Are you telling America that I will not send anybody's child into a senseless war? I am not interested in fighting unnecessary wars around the world. I am interested in pursuing peace, protecting this country, defending our people, and using diplomacy before sacrificing American lives.

I refuse to keep sending billions and trillions of American dollars outside this country while families here are struggling to buy groceries, pay rent, purchase homes, obtain medical care, and prepare their children for the future.

America must stand firmly on her own feet before our government continues carrying everybody else.

Rebuilding America at Home

I want to reduce the deficit, confront inflation, restart American production, and make homeownership affordable again.

The price of a piece of wood should never stand between an American family and the future of its home. Construction materials, groceries, insurance, utilities, transportation, and other necessities have become too expensive for working families.

I am going to fight for an America where a bag of chips can cost 99 cents again. A bag of chips alone does not determine our economy, but ordinary prices tell us whether ordinary people can afford to live.

When Americans receive their checks on Friday, they should be able to smile and say, “I have something left. I can save for my children, my grandchildren, and my future.”

That should not be considered a luxury. That is the American life working people were promised.

No Government Is Above the People

Are you telling people that I will not allow city, parish, county, state, or federal governments to misuse the people they were elected and paid to serve?

Credible allegations of corruption will be investigated regardless of whether the people involved are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, government employees, contractors, or political appointees.

Corruption does not become corruption only after a courtroom decides to acknowledge it. People can see misconduct. They can recognize when documents have been manipulated, complaints have been ignored, public money has been misused, or government power has been turned against the people.

Some courts confront corruption. Some courts see it and refuse to correct it. Others may be part of the very system that needs to be investigated.

That is why independent oversight matters.

I do not care whose feelings are hurt by a lawful investigation. Accountability is not about protecting feelings, political parties, friendships, titles, or reputations. It is about uncovering the truth, following the evidence, providing due process, and applying the law equally.

No rock will be left unturned. No judge, official, agency, department, or political institution will be allowed to believe it is superior to the law.

For every person who has been publicly or privately disrespected, denied due process, ignored by government, or mistreated by someone acting under government authority, I hear you.

Where evidence establishes wrongdoing, the people responsible must face lawful consequences. We will investigate until every available fact has been examined.

Public Money Must Produce Public Work

The American dollar will not continue going into the pockets of people who collect government salaries while refusing to perform the work the public is paying them to do.

The work will be done, or the public should not be paying for it.

Government employment is public service. It is not a private entitlement. Every office, agency, department, court, and publicly funded program must be accountable for its performance.

My Playbook Is the Constitution

I am not asking anyone to vote for me merely because of a party label.

Ask me questions publicly or privately, but do not sit in private conversations making assumptions when I am available to answer for myself.

I want America to know who I am and what I stand for. I do not have a hidden political playbook. I am an open book.

If you want to understand my governing philosophy, open the Constitution. That is my playbook.

I will not willingly allow ordinary laws, political customs, private relationships, or personal favors to override the Constitution. Every action of government must remain subject to constitutional limits, due process, equal protection, transparency, and accountability.

That is why you see me challenging government now. Reform will take time, but I am not waiting until 2028 to begin identifying the systems that protect misconduct and conceal corruption.

The work has already started.

I Need a Congress Willing to Work

The President cannot rebuild this country alone. America needs senators and representatives who are willing to work for the people.

I do not care whether they are Democrats, Republicans, or Independents. If they are genuinely willing to work with my administration to lower costs, protect constitutional rights, strengthen domestic production, pursue peace, investigate corruption, and rebuild America, consider voting for them.

Stop returning politicians to office simply because they told you another lie during another campaign.

The same people who elect public officials must be willing to remove them when they betray the public trust.

As quickly as we vote them in, we must be prepared to vote them out when they refuse to perform.

Public office belongs to the people, not to the politician occupying it.

Leadership, Age and Competency

If the Constitution and our laws establish minimum ages for public office, America has the right to debate reasonable limits and competency requirements for people holding the nation's most powerful positions.

My proposal is an upper service age of 70 for designated federal offices. I will pursue this proposal through the constitutional amendment and legislative processes required to make it lawful.

Age alone does not make someone incapable, and youth alone does not make someone competent. However, the public should not be forced to ignore visible signs that an official may no longer be capable of carrying out the responsibilities of office.

I will support annual, independent competency and fitness evaluations for designated senior federal officials, including the President. These evaluations must include appropriate medical privacy protections and meaningful public accountability.

Those evaluations should not be controlled by a politician's personal physician or by doctors whose continued employment depends upon telling that politician what he or she wants to hear.

Qualified, independent medical professionals must serve the public interest. The people deserve honest confirmation that those exercising enormous governmental power remain capable of performing their duties.

No President, including me, should be exempt from that standard.

Examine Me for Yourself

I am not asking you to blindly follow me.

I am asking you to examine me.

Read my policies. Review my record. Question my decisions. Challenge my proposals. Compare my words with my actions.

Then decide for yourself.

I am not asking America to turn completely blue, red, or any other political color. I am asking America to choose people based upon their integrity, their policies, their conduct, and their willingness to work for the public.

I am asking you to help place people in office who will work with me to clean this country up, restore constitutional government, rebuild the American economy, pursue peace, protect due process, and make public service mean service again.
