The Power Behind the Powerhouse
Behind every great man stands a remarkable woman, and for John Robert Badger, that woman is his wife, Markesha Badger. A powerhouse in her own right, Markesha embodies resilience, intelligence, and unwavering dedication to her family and the causes they hold dear. Her story is one of quiet strength and an unshakable commitment to justice, community, and the future of America.

A Love Story Rooted in Resilience
Markesha and John Badger’s journey began in the first grade at Lakeshore Elementary School in Monroe, Louisiana. Though their paths diverged when Markesha transferred schools, they were destined to reconnect. Markesha went on to attend Robert E. Lee Junior High School and graduated from Neville High School in 2008, surrounded by family and friends.
Her passion for helping others was evident early on. In 2011, she enrolled in Job Corps to pursue a CNA certification, dedicating her career to caring for the elderly and individuals with disabilities. Over the next 12 years, she built a reputation as a compassionate and skilled caregiver, but her journey didn’t stop there.
A Partnership Forged in Purpose
Markesha’s life took a pivotal turn when she married John Badger, a paralegal, human rights defender, and aspiring federal prosecutor. Their shared commitment to justice and their community became the foundation of their marriage. Markesha supported her husband through the challenges of his work, including wrongful arrests and smear campaigns aimed at silencing his voice.
One such incident occurred on December 23, 2024, when John was wrongfully arrested for exercising his First Amendment rights. Markesha vividly recalls the moment an officer forcefully pushed her husband in the chest, causing him to cry out in pain. Despite the heartbreak of driving home alone that day, she stood firm in her resolve to support John’s fight for justice.
Redefining Ambition
While Markesha’s dedication to the medical field was unwavering, the 2020 pandemic prompted a family discussion that changed the course of her career. Concerned for her safety, John encouraged her to consider other paths. Markesha decided to resign, not realizing the spark her decision would ignite in her husband.
In a matter of months, John expanded his single LLC into seven thriving businesses, proving his determination to support his wife’s ambitions. Inspired by his drive, Markesha enrolled in DeVry University, completing a program in medical billing and coding in just one year. But her journey didn’t end there. She followed in her husband’s footsteps and was accepted into Penn State University Law School, where she ranked sixth among the incoming class.
A Vision for the Future
Markesha’s ambitions align seamlessly with her husband’s vision for a better America. While John fights for justice and human rights, Markesha focuses on addressing homelessness, supporting veterans, and ensuring food safety. She envisions a government held accountable for its actions and vows to work only with individuals of integrity and community commitment.
The Badgers’ shared dream extends to the highest office in the land. Markesha boldly declared that she and her husband will become the first family in 2028, bringing righteousness and power back to the people. Their mission is not about fame or fortune but about creating a better future for all Americans.

A Legacy of Strength and Dedication
Markesha Badger’s story is one of transformation, resilience, and unwavering support for her husband and their shared mission. From her humble beginnings in Monroe to her acceptance into one of the nation’s top law schools, she has proven that strength and determination can overcome any obstacle.
As the Badgers prepare to take their fight for justice to the national stage, Markesha remains the backbone of their efforts, a testament to the power of partnership and shared purpose. Together, they represent a vision of hope, integrity, and a brighter future for America.
